DESCRIPTION: The P6-LB thin end window probe utilizes a low background Geiger tube with resulting high sensitivity for low level monitoring. Alphas, Betas and Gammas are seen.

APPLICATION: Column monitoring chromatogram plate monitoring: general purpose monitoring.

SPECIFICATIONS:

• Meter: Rugged, recessed glass face 2-1/2'' meter.
• Ranges: 3 linear ranges: 0-500; 5,000; 50,000 (0-1, 10, 100 mR/hr)

• Detector: T-1210A, 2.5 cm OD thin window GM tube. Window diameter: 2.0 cm sensitive diameter 3.2 cm² (0.6 sq. in.) probe area allows fast monitoring. Compact probe design (5 3/4'' long plus connector x 1 1/4'' OD) allows monitoring in corners and hard to reach locations. Background typically 10 cpm.
• Efficiency: 100 % for all betas and alphas that have sufficient energy to penetrate the thin window.
• Calibration: Single master calibration pot plus individual cal pots for each scale. Pots are adjustable without opening case.
• Power: 9V transistor battery (Eveready E-146x or equiv.)
