The FM-7 & FM-9- ABNI Air Monitors assure safety against airborne radioactivity contamination by means of constant check with alarm and record capability. It provides integrated exposure information and can provide hard copy via external printer or computer. It is a complete system but may be expanded per need with modules of the FM-7/9 series.

- SOLAR POWERED. Water sources are vulnerable to: accidental or knowing contamination by individuals, groups, industry and medical labs/hospitals, terrorist, naturally occurring radioactive materials (NORM) and residual treatment additives. Water districts and wastewater facilities have not had the option of a robust real-time monitor for radio nuclides and other contaminates. To date, no real time monitor has been available for radio nuclides and only individual monitors for specific chemical and biological contaminants have been available. This lack of a comprehensive, robust detection monitor has seriously hampered the development of an Online Contaminant Monitoring System (OSMS), required to protect the nation's water.

Its' subtractive balanced chamber electro - meter circuit decreases background effects to negligible levels and its deionized and filtered intake reduces to negligible levels spurious effects from smoke, dust and existing ionization in the air.

The SSS-12P Manual Liquid Scintillation Counting System accurately quantitatively measures Carbon-14, Tritium and most other radioactive materials. But for measuring low levels of Tritium and C-14, Model # SSS-22P is recommended. Optionally, gamma ray counting is achieved by inserting and optically coupling an Nal(Tl) scintillation well crystal on the PM tube.
